Everyone Is Special
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ENGAGEMENT! I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life. |
The words listed above are the words that you will speak to one another on the day of your wedding. Those words actually offer the same promise that God makes to each one of us. As a Sacrament, your marriage is a sign to the whole Church of the very real and loving presence of God. You are therefore called to love each other as God loves us: faithfully, freely, joyfully, passionately, patiently, permanently and unconditionally. As a faith community, we applaud your daring decision to enter into this Sacrament. We want to support you as you make this journey to your wedding. We want to help you grow as persons and as disciples, as well as an engaged, and soon to be, married couple. We sincerely hope that you find the guidelines included here helpful as together we prepare a wedding celebration that is joyful, reverent and truly meaningful. For more information about getting married at St. Joseph Parish, please call the Parish Office 732-792-2270 or email Fr. Mike frmikestjoseph@optonline.net. |
